Lao PDR Developing Customs Capacities To Implement Authorized Economic Operators Programme

(KPL) The Customs Department, Ministry of Finance together with the World Customs Organization (WCO) on Aug 26 organized a training session on Authorized Economic Operators (AEO) Validation to develop the Lao PDR’s Custom Administrations’ capacities to effectively examine, validate and authorize the application for AEO status from private sectors.

Sound understanding and knowledge of AEO programme implementation will be able to help improve trading environment in the Lao PDR to be more conductive and harmonized.
